There exists a very unique place, one hour south of Seville in the southwest of Spain where the "waiting-to-be-discovered jewel of a wine" ....Sherry ....is created.
This special region is Jerez. The area is undulating with vineyards stretching as far as the eye can see. The skies are brilliant, luminescent blue, the air is intoxicating and the vistas are spectacular. This is the Spain of white-washed villages on craggy hilltops, intertwining cobblestone streets and colourful flowers hanging on walls to greet the eye at every turn.... a quintessential view of Spain's vibrant palate!
The relatively small Sherry district occupies a triangle created by three historic towns.
Jerez de la Frontera, is the regions capital. While a modern town, a turn down this lane and a quick left there and.... you will be whisked away to centuries long gone in the "old city". History comes alive as you sip a chilled fino and savour a selection of tapas. The magnificent Cathedral of Jerez with its art treasures as well as the Moorish Alcazar are only some of the history and grandeur that await your discovery. And of course, in Jerez, we find the great Sherry houses of Domecq, Gonzalez Byass, Lustau and Sandeman.
Sanlucar de Barrameda is a fishing village on the Atlantic coast. Its narrow streets open to the old city square where nothing has changed for centuries. The catch from the sea arrives early every morning bound for eating establishments lining the seafront. These rustic bars and restaurants are from another era. Here is where we will find the most elegantly created Sherry ....Manzanilla....and here is where we will consume it with pleasure and share it with coastal delights!
This special region is one of ladies and gentlemen, a serene setting that is periodically pierced by a burst of flamenco and brilliantly coloured costumes. This is the land of Sherry. Please join us to experience it!

There is a special place in the world in the northeast of Spain. The place we speak of is Barcelona, a city of history, art and architecture. Surrounding this magnificent city, vinuous art is created....White, Red, Rosado and the superior sparkling Methode Champenoise known as Cava.
In Barcelona, wander the Gothic Quarter and feel the history of past centuries. Walk the Ramblas, perhaps Europe's most colourful and fascinating street. Visit the Sagrada Familia and the other masterworks of visionary architect, Antonio Gaudi. Take in the Picasso and Miro museums and revel in the surrealistic art of Dali.
We will visit the historic bodega of Codorniu, recently designated a national monument in light of its superior art nouveau architecture. Bodegas Torres, world-reknowned for their range of award winning wines will greet us as will the stunning artisan bodega of Cavas Rovellats.
A tour of the Perelada Castle which houses one of Spain's most impressive private libraries and glass museums, will be rewarded at its end with a tasting of a broad range of fine wine produced by Perelada.
The cutting edge of Catalan wine making will be represented by the state-of-the-art bodegas of Albet i Noya and Can Rafols del Caus whose fine wine reflect an intensity and fullness sought by the cognocenti.
We will dine in the bodegas, steeped in history, enjoying the ultimate expression of Catalan cuisine course by course!

Rioja is a land of ancient and grand architecture and art. The regions small and picturesque villages are filled with awe-inspiring churches, monasteries, palace, grand homes and spectacular countryside.
Rioja has been making wine since Roman times but it was not until the last century that winemaking gained in prominence. Today, Rioja is rightfully considered one of the worlds foremost wine regions.
Our visits take us to the venerable houses of Lopez de Heredia, La Rioja Alta and Marques de Murrieta, whose histories date from the mid 1800's. We will also tour the modern, state-of-the-art Bodegas of Martinez Bujanda, Marques de Caceres and the incomparable Finca Allende. And, of course, we will be wined and dined in the bodegas while saturated in history and culture!
We will experience the cuisine of Rioja....hearty, delicious and truly food for the soul! As well as dining in bodegas, we will visit select restaurants offering the very best regional cuisine and the finest wine!
And there is still more....from Rioja we will visit and immerse ourselves in the incredible Guggenhiem Museum in Bilbao designed by architect Frank Gehry.
